I don’t mind doing the washing, it’s the hanging it, getting it dry, putting away and ironing I hate, but the actual putting it in the machine is the easy part.
Washing routine, what’s that? Is that actual a thing? I don’t have one and my husband is always moaning at me that he has no clothes to wear. I may do one or two loads a week. I separate into whites and colours and then a separate load occasionally for towels and bedding if I strip all 3 beds at once. I chuck in a cap full of fabric conditioner and whatever washing powder is on offer, at the moment it’s surf, and the whites gets a scoop of whitening powder in every wash.
I don’t pack my winter clothes away they stay in the same wardrobe all year round but just get pushed to one end. The problem is after months of been shoved in a wardrobe unworn, it all needs a bit of a refresh – That’s where Ace for Colours comes in.
